    Safety guides

    Before you call

Plain-English answers to the things we get asked most. If anything feels unsafe, switch off at the main switch and call us.

    3 min read · Troubleshooting

Why does my safety switch keep tripping?

Usually it's one faulty appliance or moisture somewhere it shouldn't be. Here's how to narrow it down safely.

    Quick steps
    1. Unplug everything on the tripped circuit.
    2. Reset the safety switch.
    3. Plug items back in one at a time until it trips.
    4. If it trips with nothing plugged in, call an electrician.

Smoke alarms and RCDs when you sell or rent in WA

WA homes need compliant mains-powered smoke alarms and at least two RCDs before they're sold or rented. What that means in practice.

    The checklist
    1. Mains-powered smoke alarms in the right places, in working order.
    2. At least two RCDs protecting power and lighting circuits.
    3. Keep the certificate for your agent or settlement agent.

5 min read · EV charging

Is your switchboard ready for an EV charger?

Most homes can take a 7kW charger, but older boards often need an upgrade first. Here's what we check.

    What we look at
    1. Your supply and existing load.
    2. Space on the board for a dedicated circuit.
    3. Cable run from the board to where you park.
    4. Whether you have solar to charge from.

    FAQ

    Common questions

Can't see your question? Call or text and you'll talk to an electrician, not a call centre.

    Do you charge for quotes?

No. Quotes are free in our service area. For larger jobs we'll visit; for small ones a few photos is usually enough.

How soon can you come out?

Most jobs are booked within the week, and urgent faults the same day. You'll get a two-hour arrival window confirmed by text.

Do you work for landlords and property managers?

Yes. We can liaise with tenants directly, send photos and certificates to your agent, and invoice the owner.

    How do I pay?

By card on the day or bank transfer within seven days. Larger jobs have a small deposit to order materials.

    Is your work guaranteed?

All workmanship is covered for 12 months, and products carry the manufacturer's warranty on top.

    Ready when you are.

Send the job through and we'll come back with a fixed price within one business day.
